General Plans
- Camino 1.1
- See User:sardisson/Camino 1.1 and User:sardisson/Camino 1.1/Priority List for bugs
- Only 41 crashes from a2 in 4 weeks - Flash, Bug 349463 (PL_DHash @ quit), and Bug 351504 (downloading) are the most common
- smorgan's made a little progress digging on the ornery bugs (load-but-no-paint [the un-understood part of Bug 350331], pop-up blocker truncation [Bug 350732])
- Camino 1.1b1
- Feb 15 (one week from today)
- UI facing work remaining on bugs we need for 1.1 - 8 nibs and strings bugs, including Password Stealing, 2 Spelling UI bugs, and fixing the pop-up blocker to (at minimum) not auto whitelist (also ReadMe update/freezing)
- how many days of work/reviews yet?
- spelling UI - murph is making progress; one bug is awaiting review, another is close to patch
- password stealing is almost ready
- kqueue is back for review round 6 (not an absolute blocker, but since we want wide testing, it'd be good to have this finally fixed)
- Some regressions from just-fixed bugs appeared in the past week :(
- Feb 15 (one week from today)
- Camino 1.0.4
- Releases:1.0.4:Links
- New target release date (shortly after 1.1b1, depending on Gecko 1.8.0.10)
- Plan is to not ship password stealing for 1.0.4, but in 1.0.5 instead
- tinderboxen
- pawn's now yellow (!)
- Bookmark loss
- Weekly Bugs and Queues update
- logjam seems to be the stuffing of smorgan's queue with review requests for big patches plus his trying to write big patches :p
Specific bugs that need action
1.1 (priority)
- Bug 295755 - Flashblock
- How do we want to deal with bad chrome.rdf files in the profile (from former CamiFlash users); Flashblock won't work unless we "remove" them.
- need some build-sys patches from mento yet, too
Not 1.1 (if there's time)
- Bug 337261 – Review dom_storage build changes on the Camino/1.8 branch
- Do we want the other stuff? (global storage, comment 3)
- Bug 361157 - Opening files should open them in a new window
- Should this be tied to a pref, and if so which one?
