16:05 ardissone: http://wiki.caminobrowser.org/Status_Meetings:2011-02-09:Agenda
16:06 ardissone: stuartmorgan: did pink give any ETA on his srs?
16:06 stuartmorgan: No, but I can poke him later today
16:06 ardissone: ok :)
16:07 ardissone: 2.1a1 still looking good (given the low volume)
16:07 ardissone: Flash 10.1/10.2 has overtaken 1Password as the top crash source ;)
16:08 ardissone: (1P is apparently the #1 and #2 top crash for recent Firefoxen, so they're awesome all around ;) )
16:08 ardissone: 2.0.6 crash rate is creeping back towards normal
16:08 ardissone: the problem was that we were being throttled to only 10% of crashes
16:09 ardissone: because when socorro moved to Phoenix, they didn't move the processor configs :P
16:09 » Jan left the chat room.
16:10 ardissone: nothing really interesting in the 2.0.6 top crashes this week
16:10 ardissone: the VP3VideoDecoder crash on aljazeera turned out to be a Flash bug after all, not an OS bug
16:10 ardissone: and it's supposed to be fixed in 10.2
16:11 » Jan joined the chat room.
16:11 ardissone: LastPass has the old -[BrowserWindowController tabView:didSelectTabViewItem:] crash again, with the same 3 different module IDs as before
16:11 ardissone: but
16:12 ardissone: they also have a new crash in -[NSString _initWithBytesOfUnknownEncoding:length:copy:usedEncoding:] importing their passwords
16:12 ardissone: stuartmorgan: ^^^ one of them has an email, so I can get that to you if you want to forward that crash on to them
16:13 stuartmorgan: They haven't responded to my last email
16:13 ardissone: :(
16:14 stuartmorgan: I'm done with them unless they demonstrate some willingness to put real effort into fixing their crashes
16:14 ardissone: ok
16:14 ardissone: i'll ping the reporter then and suggest he report the crash to them
16:14 stuartmorgan: Sounds good
16:14 ardissone: maybe that will help :P
16:16 ardissone: stuartmorgan: you apparently wrote the Camino code in https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/ffb4a1f0-bc57-420f-b130-7674b2110205
16:16 » Jan left the chat room.
16:16 ardissone: i suspect it's swizzling or just an unhapppy OS, but could you take a look and make sure there's nothing obvious?
16:16 » Jan joined the chat room.
16:17 ardissone: i've actually seen this crash a couple of times in 2.1.foo; the drag image gets stuck somewhere somehow, and we eventually crash
16:17 stuartmorgan: Okay
16:18 ardissone: also, did you see the bug I filed about flash-check?
16:19 ardissone: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=632588
16:20 ardissone: grumbles about needing yet-another-branch :P
16:21 ardissone: i got one of the big 4 missing 10.6.x libobjc.A.dylib variants from ilya last night :)
16:22 ardissone: anyone reading the log on 10.6, please run http://www.ardisson.org/smokey/moz/moduleid.zip and let me know what the output is ;)
16:23 ardissone: my goal this week is to get things set for 2.0.7, once I fix bug 629850
16:24 ardissone: i need to throw some more complex mailto URLs at NSURL and see what happens
16:24 ardissone: after the data: discrepancy, I think we might need to switch to NSString prefix: like we've done other places
16:25 ardissone: and i'll try to do bug 632144 ;)
16:26 ardissone: stuartmorgan: any news you want to update this week?
16:27 ardissone: i think ilya was working through cpeterso's notification names patch; he said it looked OK at a glance, but it was a pretty large patch :)
16:27 stuartmorgan: Sorry, back. Nothing new from me yet
16:27 ardissone: ok
16:27 stuartmorgan: Do you need me to write the JS for Flash?
16:27 ardissone: if you could, that would be great
16:27 stuartmorgan: okay
16:27 stuartmorgan: I think I can do that tonight
16:27 ardissone: i might be able to fumble through it
16:28 ardissone: but i'd rather not fumble ;)
16:28 ardissone: thansk :)
16:29 ardissone: that really covers everything I have, I think
16:30 ardissone: oh, phiw has the plug-in ui stuff done
16:30 ardissone: that's in my queue, will try to get to it tonight
16:31 ardissone: r queue's been good; pink's half of the sr queue is in need of attention soon ;)
16:32 ardissone: stuartmorgan: unless you have anything else, you can go back to being fully away (I might have questions about bug 632144 later if you are still around; otherwise i'll put them in the bug)
16:33 stuartmorgan: Nothing else from me
16:33 ardissone: ok then :)
16:33 ardissone: everyone please work on those 2.1/b1 bugs and reviews, and have a good week :D
