General Plans

• Camino 1.6.3
  • Talkback (all 1.6.3 crashes — 2652)
    • #1 is Flash
    • #2/5 is libSystem.B.dylib - presumably a large degree are 1passwd in addition to plug-ins, although details remain illusive; bit of a spike this week
    • #3 is Core crash-on-quit (Bug 349463)
    • #4 is Cocoa - more random bits of Camino and Gecko code; Address Book, plug-ins
    • #6 is libObjC.A.dylib - four 1passwd crashes and mostly useless stacks elsewhere
  • Cleaning up stuff from the website; file bugs against Product Site if you see anything.
  • Need to be more diligent about asking about IMs up-front: "I have problem x" "Do you have any input managers installed (e.g., 1Password)?" (We'll have to specifically mention 1Password, since people mostly don't know how it's implemented)
  • Be very careful asking people to test trunk nightlies, since they do irreversible profile damage.

  • We have a build and almost-good ML build
  • 1.8.1.17 was set to release Sept 16 (yesterday), but apparently 1.9.0.2 issues are delaying?
• Camino 2.0
  • Rough scoping doc at Development:Planning:Camino 2.0
    • Will retriage 2.0 list after 2.0a1
    • Anything with l10n impact should be nominated for b1 and add l10n to the whiteboard
  • Target date for Camino 2.0a1 is now (early Sept)
    • Freeze - where are we?
      • Stuart has two patches to land (Tabsposé blocking and one bit of the tab loop)
      • Main part of the tab loop needs sr still
      • Post-freeze, we should bake tab loop a couple of days (plus relnotes) before spinning
  • Anti-phishing - can't get permission :(
  • Keyboard loop - Big patch waiting on pink to sr; others are ready to go. Several bugs to re-test after this all lands

• Tinderboxen
  • boxset went AWOL right after Sam left; probably dead
  • cb-x1 back to life (but reporting with .local hostname) using local configs
  • cb-minimaya and cb-minibinus have both gone missing yet again
  • boxset stopped reporting to tinderbox almost 5 months ago; Sam working on new mail server - Bug 425138
  • cb-miniosx01 has Ts disabled due to paging/low installed RAM
• Dev docs
  • CBSamplePane: can now build branch-compatible pane using trunk files; cl needs to address review comments
• Weekly Bugs and Queues update
  • Less bug movement this week, but r queue in a little bit better shape; 2 untargeted reviews.
