General Plans

  • Camino 1.0.3
    • Release date - ?
      • What blocks us
        • Check in relnotes
        • Mini-branch for the cache version fix (and maybe Bug 325964 - MathML space fix)
        • A Release Candidate
        • l10n build (a fair number of relnotes ready already)
    • Please hammer on [ this build]
mento will mini-branch and spin an RC this evening. l10n is looking good (6-10 of 16); marcello will update this evening. Still roughly on-target for a release with 1.8.0.7 on Thurs.
  • Bugs and Patches
    • haas posted a new patch and comments Wed night :). It has r+ and is awaiting sr - Bug 322093
    • Not much change in the review queue blockage
froodian now has cvs access and made his first checkins this morning. That will help, but regular reviews are still the main hold-up.
  • Camino 1.1
    • No 1.1 fixes since last week, number of bugs on the list went up for the first time
    see "Bugs and Patches"

Specific bugs that need action

  • Bug 337750 - bookmarks-corrupted-n.plist often written as empty file
    • We need to get logging code in ASAP, and preferably in for everyone (rather than as a custom build) since the problem seems pretty random, and every little bit will help. froodIan has a patch waiting to do this.
  • Somebody should check in the needs checkin query (and the 1.0.3 relnotes)
  • Bug 322374 - Crash [@ libobjc.A.dylib.227.0.0] when clearing download list
    • It seems that we are seeing this again in talkback for Camino1.1, but it's not at all clear that this is the same crash as before
  • Bug 283100 - Growl Integration for Mac OS X
    • The guy who wrote the SIMBL plugin wants to make a patch for this. We should discuss it and get to either "Yes" or "WONTFIX". I vote strongly for it, since it would not be like Colloquy. It wouldn't install itself, it would be invisible to people without Growl installed, and easily turn-offable from the Growl side for those with it installed. Froodian 17:52, 4 September 2006 (PDT)
  • Bug 346111, Bug 351008, unfiled bug from ss, Wevah and maxr
    • Weirdness with sheets and autocomplete on Intel (sheets refuse to close/constantly re-open; autocomplete fails to update without restart of Mac)
