General Plans

  • Camino 1.1 Alpha 1
    • What else do we want landed before we release Alpha 1?
User:Sardisson/Camino 1.1 for some idea of regressions and unpolished new features
    • Start hacking on 1.1 bugs (and goals) rather than all over
    • Hicks is helping with artwork in japser's absence
    • New first-time contrib (Sean Murphy) with patch on a 1.1 good-first-bug Bug 308062
    • smorgan's moving us to Keychain Services API (but not the dep bugs) this weekend
  • Camino 1.0.3
    • After 2 Gecko false-starts, we released in sync with Gecko for the first time ever
    • Did anyone email Jay about Talkback reports?
    • Who is building 1.0.3 release + the superlogging patch for Bug 337750?
      • Can we ask a (competent, e.g. krmathis) 3rd-party builder to do a completely standard 1.0.3 build with that patch?
  • SeaMonkey wants to know if there's a list of files in xpfe that'll break us (CTho)
  • Weekly Queue Backlog Update
Making a bit of headway again on 1.1, but bugs that block big sets of bugs are still stuck various places

Specific bugs that need action

  • Bug 340412 - Protect (warn) against (accidentally) opening too many tabs
    • Specifically, should we expose the number of tabs that constitutes "many" (as showcased here)?
  • Bug 319777 - Delliott's bug (tab scrolling)
    • Hicks has put up some icon mockups - we should decide which one is best.
  • Bug 352922 - Override some generic strings in netError.dtd and config.dtd
    • Which method should we employ? "live replacement" or check-in pre-modified files?
  • Bug 331331 - Change popup blocker's color
    • Where do we want to go here? Should we land a "quick and dirty" solution from Hicks? Or is that what we want for the final version? This needs Mike's decision.
