General Plans

• Camino 1.1
  • See User:sardisson/Camino 1.1 for regressions/feature follow-up, User:sardisson/Camino 1.1/Priority List, and Queries for bugs
  • Mainly "hard" bugs left; 1.1 bugs list slowly growing
  • Camino 1.1b1
    • l10n is having some issues; we're trying to figure out what is wrong and if it's isolated or affects everyone
    • beta Talkback; 1359 crashes in 2.5 weeks (as of 12 AM EST)
    • We believe the libobjc.dylib and the hexes crashes have been fixed; smokey posted in the forum and blogged, asking for heavy testing of a post-beta nightly to help verify. So far, so good.
    • Nothing else really popping out of Talkback so far
    • Some Keychain bugs have popped up with wider testing and smorgan is working on them; Bug 372866 (stealing from Safari) is the most severe
    • Otherwise, nothing else new/unexpected coming in from Beta
  • batwood is back for round 2 and is working on multiple account support for Keychain; will need respin once smorgan's Keychain bug fixes land (possible for 1.1? feature complete?)
  • Josh Kagan (TheJosh) is going to help smokey and sam with docs and also do a little QA
• Camino 1.0.4
  • Released last Wednesday
  • so far, so good; Talkback is about average for that sort of release, and no surprises in the stacks

  • Macs in the office are being turned off in/by April; can be shipped to community
  • transition has begun, so we are burning (no trunk nightly)

  • Queues are getting heavy again, especially sr. pink is swamped at work until Apr; desperately need someone to help sr smorgan's patches regularly to keep queues moving towards 1.1. froodian is in dial-up land again this week.

    • If so, projects (and mentors) we want to propose; see a semi-updated version of the old bad list
