16:04 ardissone: brb
16:04 ardissone: pinkerton: can you give mozilla.org@cpeterso.com canconfirm/editbugs?
16:04 ardissone: is tired of assigning his bugs to him ;)
16:08 ss: You should just get permissions to do that.
16:09 ardissone: ?
16:09 ardissone: http://wiki.caminobrowser.org/Status_Meetings:2010-09-22:Agenda
16:10 ardissone: we had a nice decline in crashes
16:10 ardissone: not sure if it was real or was because of the Socorro mess
16:11 ardissone: (or everyone leaving because of #newtwitter being horribly broken in 2.0 :P )
16:11 ardissone: KBL is still our most significant crash
16:12 ardissone: though Flash was up in % (both parts, despite what it says)
16:12 ardissone: anything else on 2.0.4?
16:13 ardissone: ok
16:14 ardissone: on 1.6.x, total usage numbers are starting to stabilize from back-to-school, and the fake update doesn't seem to be having much effect right now
16:15 ardissone: :(
16:15 ardissone: on to 2.0.5
16:15 ardissone: smorgan: any progress on ideas for KBL?
16:16 smorgan: Not yet, soryy
16:16 ardissone: ok
16:16 ardissone: we're in pretty good shape otherwise
16:17 ardissone: there are some forthcoming security fixes that we will absolutely want in 2.0.5, so we need to let them land on 1.9.x before we build
16:18 ardissone: because I can't even minibranch them without exposing 1.9.x users
16:18 ardissone: (freeze for 1.9.x is supposed to be a week from yesterday)
16:19 ardissone: anything else on 2.0.5?
16:20 » Jan left the chat room.
16:20 ardissone: on to 2.1
16:21 ardissone: main developments here are that smorgan's been spinning off pieces of the perf bug as he goes along, and the WIPs are generally producing better results
16:22 ardissone: i believe cl was seeing some startup issues, but i'm not clear on that
16:23 smorgan: Yeah, startup sucks. part of it is sychronous
16:23 ardissone: is it potentially improvable?
16:24 smorgan: Not sure yet; doing sub-range queries might help. I don't know enough about the deep internals of the history system to know for sure
16:24 ardissone: heh
16:24 ardissone: ok
16:25 ardissone: i did/landed a bunch of build-related cleanup
16:25 ardissone: and we're getting about 1.5 bugs/wk from cpeterso
16:26 ardissone: (but for the most part, not 2.1 targeted/? bugs from either of us)
16:27 ardissone: overall, we're at about the same place wrt Alpha 1: whenever the perf fixes are deployable (with the rest of gestures riding along if murph has a patch)
16:28 ardissone: on the plus side, we did RESOLVED FIXED 10 bugs for the second inter-meeting-period in a row :)
16:29 pinkerton: :)
16:29 ardissone: anything else on 2.1?
16:31 ardissone: anyone have anything else on anything else today?
16:33 ardissone: ok then
16:33 ardissone: everyone have a good week, and please keep working on those 2.1a1/2.0.5 bugs/reviews :)
