Answers to common questions that really shouldn't have to be answered by Camino support/QA but nonetheless are asked too often....

Installing An Application From A Disk Image

Camino is distributed as a disk image, the standard software distribution format for Macintosh. This downloads as a compressed .dmg file. Double clicking it mounts a virtual "disk" (looks like a white hard drive), which contains the Camino application, a Read Me file, and Release Notes. To install, drag the application into your Applications folder, or any other folder on your hard drive. You may then eject the image by dragging it to the trash, throw away the original .dmg file, and add Camino do your dock if you wish.

Changing Menu Item Keyboard Shortcuts

You can easily change the keyboard shortcut for any menu item in Mac OS X. To do so, open System Preferences->Keyboard & Mouse->Keyboard Shortcuts, and press the + button. In the "Applications" popup menu, choose Camino. In the "Menu Title" field, type the exact name of the menu item you want to change, and in the "Keyboard Shortcut" field, type the new shortcut you want that menu item to have. Hit OK and relaunch Camino.
