General Plans

  • Camino 1.5
    • Still cleaning up stuff from the website switch; file bugs against Product Site if you see anything
    • Getting killed by 1passwd (and to a lesser extent CaminoSession)
      • Talkback
        • Crash on quit ("pass-the-buck" Core Bug 349463) is #2
        • A few other other-than-normal crashes with high counts could use investigation [1], [2]
  • Camino 1.0.5
    • Staged; waiting on bouncer for a release
    • Sam/Smokey working on a post for the Camino Blog announcing 1.0.5 and sunsetting 10.2 support, pointing out the occasional English nib, and recruiting for missing l10ns
  • Camino 1.6
    • Scoping (modified somewhat by meet-up; needs updating)
      • Bugzilla re-triaged before the meet-up, but needs changes to sync with meet-up changes
    • Ian landed tab scrolling
  • Camino Meet-up
    • good hacking and/or code reviewing was had by all?
    • some sort of summary is supposed to be made available on the wiki?
    • Sam needs to blog some stuff
  • SoC 2007
    • peeja will start blogging soon about AppleScript
  • Tinderboxen
    • no nightly from maya for 24+ hrs (Bug 385109); cb-x1 is now failing with the same error; need mento
    • past turn-off date, but they're still running at MoFoCo
    • ss is having fun with "lento" on MozillaTest
  • Bookmark loss
    • start watching for data from newer-than-1.1b builds
  • Weekly Bugs and Queues update
    • Queues are better, but r queue is still a bit heavy, and half of it are untargeted reviews. murph is away until 6/23.

Specific bugs that need action

1.6pre

1.5.1

  • Bug 379726 - [10.4] Javascript alert sheets don't open if Camino is hidden
    • seems like a bad 10.4 issue; murph has a second patch there

Other (if there's time)

  • Bug 175651 - CJK (at least Chinese and Japanese) font Preferences changes not applied to any CJK Web page
    • landed on all branches; in theory trunk should be OK now, but we need some testing+filing bugs against Core (at the very least, for changing default Core font prefs to Cocoa names)
  • Need to keep an eye on trunk regressions, determine if they're Camino-only or partly/wholly Core, and consider requesting blocking1.9? for the latter set.
