General Plans
- Camino 1.1 Alpha 1
- tentatively Thu/Fri Oct 5/6
- Please work on a1-nominated bugs and any of the pop-up blocker bugs
- Autocomplete optimization caused some regressions, but most serious (blocker crashes on 10.3) fixed now
- Camino 1.1
- Menu Cleanup and Software Update are the two "big" things left for 1.1
- The rest is mostly cleanup/regressions from feature landings, polish
- Camino 1.0.3
- Nothing bad so far?
- Tarball may be horked?
- 3 MB smaller than the 1.0.2 tarball, and some ruminations on forum about problems building with it (1.0.2 tarball was trunk initially, until fixed)
- Still trying to get Jay to figure out why the Talkback reports aren't running (smokey/sam)
- Queue Updates
- smfr has been helping sr while pink's away; this has been very good so far (sr queue mostly cleared every 1-2 days)
- Still some stumbling on getting the most critical patches to the tops of the queues, but overall we're doing a bit better with queue management
- New stat: bugs fixed since last meeting, to balance the raw "net" stats on queries
- (we fix bugs, but new ones come in that are regressions or bugs in new features)
Specific bugs that need action
- Bug 181806 - Add "Go" button to toolbar
- We need to decide if we want this bug or not.
- Bug 175336 - different cursors for link targets/clicks that will cause new tabs/windows
- Initial set of ideas from Hicks
- Bug 303193 - less Windows-y error pages
