General Plans

  • Camino 1.6
    • Scoping
      • Most of Tab Scrolling is done, as is AppleScript (P3)
      • swupdate is be ready (l10n debloating, branch license still needed; Ts regression Bug 405542)
      • jeff has been poking the tab dragging code; WIP on Bug 160720, plus he's working on animation
      • batwood has patches for both of his 1.6 bugs (multiple accounts needs new patch after r-)
      • murph has patches for search editor and OpenSearch (need smorgan [re]review); should have a solution to fully establish a working key-view loop throughout the browser window after that
      • ardissone has been fighting Makefiles for AppleScript feed handlers
  • Camino 1.6a1
    • Code complete over the weekend; waiting on ardissone to have free time with relnotes
    • Next Tues/Weds?
  • Camino 1.6b1
    • What P1/P2 features won't make it?
    • l10n freeze, so all strings/nib changes must be done by beta
    • please help out with any P1s (see query below)
  • Camino 1.5.4
    • Releasing today, pending website, bouncer, etc.
    • Talkback for 1.5.3
      • Generally looks similar to past weeks, but needs to be poked again when ardissone catches a second
    • Still cleaning up stuff from the website switch; file bugs against Product Site if you see anything.

      • Not currently possible to build PPC with gcc 3.3/10.3.9 SDK - Bug 401768 (waiting on approval for the new NSPR tag in client.mk)
  • Tinderboxen
    • linear-ish T* increases on boxset (Tp, Tdhtml dropped a bit recently; Ts still rising) and maya; maya reboot helped some
    • no new news on binus
    • maya caught binus disease
    • cb-miniosx01 is the first 10.5 tinderbox in all of Mozillaland
      • needs mozconfig and tinderconfig in cvs?
    • we should think about setting up a testerbox to catch Core bugs breaking embedding APIs
  • Weekly Bugs and Queues update
    • sr queue is empty! :) The review queue is very ugly; we need to spread the load around better, and get to reviews requested of us in a timely fashion (more than half of the r requests are older than 2 weeks).

  • Bug 185436 - Software update for release builds
    • Landed in the tree and built by default now
      • about:license bug filed Bug 403164, waiting on branch approval
    • Ts regression - Bug 405542
    • localization - Bug 401017 - will need to work something out to not build l10ns in en-only but get them to l10n teams so they don't have to re-localize
    • appcast - Bug 401474
  • In theory P1 UI bugs are all to be fixed for a1

  • UNCOs
    • Bug 376930 - Overflow tab menu covers whole upper right part of my screen
      • Need to find a way to "promote" this as an area we'd like user feedback on in 1.6a1
  • Trunk
    • smorgan, with help from bz and roc, has squashed most of the outstanding Camino-only trunk bugs :)
    • Need to keep an eye on trunk regressions, determine if they're Camino-only or partly/wholly Core, and consider requesting blocking1.9? for the latter set.
    • xpfe cleanup
      • see older Agendas if you're interested
